Eligibility Criteria
Business immigration encompasses several components. For the Start-up Visa, you must design an innovative business, create jobs for Canadians and obtain a letter of support from a designated organization. For the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT), you must demonstrate that you are in a management position or have specialized knowledge. Processing Times
Deadlines vary greatly depending on the program. A work permit under the ICT stream can be processed in a few weeks to a few months. The Start-up Visa (permanent residence processing) can take 12 to 36 months depending on current volumes.

Although the Start-up Visa does not require a mandatory minimum capital (besides establishment funds), provincial entrepreneur programs often require investments ranging from C$150,000 to over C$600,000, with government processing fees specific to each province.
