Terms of Use

1. Who we are

AMRI Consulting is a private, independent firm that supports study and immigration plans for Canada, headquartered in Montreal (Canada), with an office in Rabat (Morocco). We are not a government service and have no connection with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Paid immigration advice and representation before IRCC are provided exclusively by Mohammed El Habib Cherdoud, a regulated consultant licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC, No. R532955), verifiable in the College's public register, with whom AMRI Consulting works in partnership. The other team members handle reception, document preparation and administrative follow-up.

2. Our services and their limits

• We have an obligation of means, not of results. Decisions (visas, permits, permanent residence, admissions) belong solely to Canadian authorities, provinces and educational institutions: no outcome can be guaranteed.
• The eligibility test, CRS points calculator, simulators and assistant give an indicative estimate based on your answers. They are neither legal advice nor a promise; only our team's review of your file commits the firm.
• Immigration rules change often. We update our content, but an article or page may no longer reflect the rule in force when you read it.

3. Mandate, fees and payments

• All support is covered by a signed service agreement setting out the services, fees, schedule and refund conditions. In case of difference, the agreement prevails over these terms.
• Fees charged by governments and third parties (IRCC, provinces, institutions, language tests, credential assessment, medical exam) are separate from our fees and paid directly to those organizations.
• Accepted payment methods are stated in your agreement and in your client space.
• You may file a complaint about the regulated consultant with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

4. Your commitments

• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and tell us about any change (family situation, employment, travel, previous refusal).
• Never submit a falsified document. Misrepresentation leads to refusal of the application and may result in a 5-year inadmissibility to Canada.
• Keep your login details confidential. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication or a passkey in your client space settings.

5. Client space

The client space is used to track your file, upload documents, exchange messages and book appointments. We may suspend an account in case of fraudulent or abusive use or use that undermines the security of the service, after informing you where possible.

6. Intellectual property

The site's content (texts, images, logos, assessment tools) belongs to AMRI Consulting or is used with permission. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, requires our prior written consent.

7. Personal information

The collection and processing of your personal information, including the use of artificial intelligence and cookies, are described in our privacy policy.

8. Liability

AMRI Consulting cannot be held liable for damage resulting from inaccurate information provided by the user, a decision by the authorities, temporary unavailability of the site or the use of third-party sites we link to, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intentional or gross fault, or the rights granted to you by applicable consumer protection law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection granted by the mandatory rules of your country of residence, including the right to bring a claim before the court of your domicile where that law so provides. Subject to this, the courts of the judicial district of Montreal have jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

We may change these terms. A significant change is announced in your client space or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; it never modifies a service agreement already signed.
